Bio

Ursula is the Chief Data Officer and leads the Enterprise Data and Information Management Office. In this capacity she is driving the end-to-end processes for Citizens Bank’s strategic enterprise asset, data.

Her leadership role includes: Partnering with executive leadership and the businesses of Citizens Financial Group to align an enterprise data strategy and business-unit level data plans with the strategy and priorities of the business.
Leading the creation of an organizational capability to support the technical and business aspects of our data supply chain to ensure data is treated as an enterprise asset.

Driving the synchronization of enterprise data initiatives to ensure value across the corporation. Executing on a common process for sourcing data, organizing data into a ‘data lake’, replacing an existing customer file with a master data management solution, and implementing a metadata repository. Creating and maintaining the data management and quality processes and standards, including the establishment of a data stewardship community.

Previously, she was with KeyBank for more than 16 years in various roles. Most recently, Ursula served as the first Chief Data Officer providing vision, strategy and policy guidance for data acquisition, usage and management activities. Prior to that, she led the support related functions of the Corporate Bank, as Chief Administrative Officer. Her Six Sigma Green Belt was critical to her time managing 12 branches in Cleveland, as well as many facets of the Client Experience program, including the design, development and deployment of a single instance of Siebel 7 across multiple lines of business.

Ursula received her Bachelor of Science degree in business from Bowling Green State University, her MBA from Cleveland State University and certification from the Stonier School of Banking, while maintaining her Series 7 license.

She is currently on the Board of The Centers for Families and Children. In addition, she volunteers her time with United Way, Junior League of Cleveland and Cleveland Bridge Builders. Ursula has been recognized with the KeyCorp Chairman's Award in 2005, the YWCA Women of Professional Achievement in 2010 and as an Honorary Member of Beta Gamma Sigma in 2012.
